This page describes data handling in the ScoreTraker app and on scoretraker.app.

Data in the app

ScoreTraker stores leagues, teams, player names and numbers, officials, arenas, game events and settings on your device. Imported audio and recorded announcements also remain on your device. No ScoreTraker account is required.

Transmission and tracking

The app does not automatically send your database to a ScoreTraker server. The version described contains no advertising, third-party analytics or advertising tracking. It does not manage iCloud synchronization. Apple system backups may retain app data depending on your device settings.

Microphone

Microphone permission is used only to record announcements you start. You can deny permission or change it in iOS settings. Other scorekeeping features remain available.

Sharing you choose

You can export the database or share a PDF through apps of your choice. These files may include player and personnel names and statistics. Choose recipients carefully. Further handling depends on recipients and selected services. Database exports exclude music files and audio recordings.

Retention and deletion

Information remains on your device until deleted or replaced. You can remove players and events, delete games and reset a league’s games. Name snapshots may remain in game history after a player is removed. Deleting a game deletes its associated events. An import replaces the active database, but local safety backups may remain in app files. Uninstalling the app removes its local data; exported copies and system backups must be managed separately.

Website and support

The website does not set analytics or advertising cookies and contains no third-party trackers. The server may log standard request information, including IP address, date and requested page, for operation and security. If you email us, your address and message are used to handle your request. No database file is sent to support unless you choose to send it.
